If you need to develop complex statistical or engineering analyses, you can save steps and time by using the Analysis ToolPak. You provide the data and parameters for each analysis, and the tool uses the appropriate statistical or engineering macro functions to calculate and display the results in an output table. Some tools generate charts in addition to output tables.

Follow these steps to load the Analysis ToolPak in Excel 2016 for Mac:

Load the Analysis Toolpak. The Analysis Toolpak is an Excel add-in program that is available when you install Microsoft Office or Excel (See later for instructions for installing Analysis Toolpak on a Mac). To use the Toolpak in Excel, however, you need to first need to load it: 1. Once you select the data, we can see the Quick Analysis tool icon at the bottom of the selection. Click on this icon to explore all the possible options. We have “Formatting, Charts, Totals, Tables, and Sparkline’s”. Let look at formatting now. Just place a cursor on the required formatting option we can see the immediate impact in our data. Hi all, I'm trying to find the QUICK ANALYSIS tool in my Excel on mac version 15.14. I can't seem to find it. I have the data analysis tool but this in NOT what i'm looking for. The Quick Analysis button appears on the lower-right corner of the selection.   3. If Analysis ToolPak is not listed in the Add-Ins available box, click Browse to locate it.
    • If you get a prompt that the Analysis ToolPak is not currently installed on your computer, click Yes to install it.
    • Quit and restart Excel.
    • Now the Data Analysis command is available on the Data tab.
